CorDx 4in1 Corona Influenza A/B RSV Combo Antigen Rapid Test for swabs in the front of the nose is used for the early detection of otherwise undetected corona infections approx. 1 - 3 days before the onset of symptoms and approx. 5 - 7 days after the onset of symptoms. In addition, the 4-in-1 combination rapid test offers the option of independently distinguishing between a harmless cold, flu (influenza A/B), Covid-19 and the RSV virus. The CorDx lay rapid test also detects all common corona mutations (alpha, beta, gamma, delta, iota, mu, omicron). The test result can be read within 15 minutes of taking the sample. Use in children and adolescents under supervision is generally possible.
Very high detection probabilities:
99.43% (FLU A antigen)
99.15% (FLU B antigen)
99.14% (RSV antigen)
97.86% (COVID-19 antigen)
Test preparation
1. Remove the foil from the tip of the sample collection tube.
2. Place the tube in the tube holder and remove the sample swab from the bag.
3. Using the sterile swab provided in the kit, gently insert the swab into one nostril.
4. The swab should be inserted 2 - 4 cm until resistance is met. Roll the swab in a circle around the inner wall 5 times to collect mucus and cells. To obtain an adequate sample from both nasal cavities, repeat this process in the other nostril.
5. Insert the swab down into the collection tube, rotate and press the swab 10 times while pressing the head against the bottom and side of the collection tube.
6. Leave the swab in the collection tube for 1 minute.
7. Rotate and press the tube several times with your fingers from outside the tube to immerse the swab. Remove the swab.
8. Attach the dropper tip firmly to the tube. Mix thoroughly by swirling or stroking the bottom of the tube.
Test Procedure
Remove the test cassette from the sealed pouch. Place on a flat, clean and dry surface.
Invert the specimen collection tube and add 3 drops of test sample by pushing the specimen collection tube into each of the specimen wells.
Read the test result after 15 minutes.
